Voice, text or camera — every mode detects the language on its own. You never have to tell it what you are about to say.
Conversation mode
Two people, one phone. Each side sees the other's words in their own language, and can tap to hear it read aloud.
Voice translation
Hold, speak, release. Your speech is transcribed by a dedicated speech model before it is translated, which is what keeps the direction right even through a strong accent.
Image translation
Point your camera at a menu, a sign or a form. TapTrans reads the text out of the picture and translates it in place.

From Spanish and Portuguese to Japanese, Korean, Thai and Vietnamese. The app interface itself speaks 12 languages.
Nothing kept
Your conversations are not stored on our servers and are never used to train models. We keep the token counts we need to bill you, and nothing else.
Pay per use
No subscription, no monthly fee. You top up a balance and spend fractions of a cent per translation. Stop using it and you are charged nothing.

Straightforward pricing
You buy credit, translations draw it down, and nothing renews on its own.
- No subscription. Top up when you want to, in the amounts you choose. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
- Charged per translation. A typical spoken sentence costs a small fraction of a cent, so a few dollars of credit covers a long trip.
- You can see every charge. The app lists your translations with the exact amount each one cost.
- Credit does not expire while your account is open.
